METHOD OF PAYMENT 

Finance Payment 

If you are availing of in-house finance, you will have already been in discussion with our Business Manager who will have made you aware of all the necessary requirements involved. The following will be required either before or on the day of collection. 

• Proof of Identity - Passport or Drivers License 
• Proof of Address : Utility Bill / Bank Statement (<3months ) Note : Mobile Phone bills not accepted 
• Bank Details for Direct Debit 
• Proof of PPS number 
• Other Items Agreed as part of the finance terms, If Finance has been arranged through another source, we will require payment prior to delivery. 

Bank Draft 

Must be made payable to John Morrison Motors Ltd. 

Electronic Funds Transfer 

Funds must be cleared prior to the release of your vehicle. Please allow for Weekend / Bank Holiday delays and confirm clearance time with your bank. 

Debit Card 

Payments can be accepted by Debit Card on the day of collection. Please ensure you check your card's single transaction threshold *(Usually €5000). This can be checked through your bank. Credit Cards are not accepted. 

PLEASE NOTE - Personal Cheques are not accepted under any circumstances on the day of collection/ handover. If you have no alternative to this form of payment, it is important that you allow at least 5 days for payment to clear. This form of payment will mean that you allow 5 days for payment to clear. This form of payment will mean that you must submit the cheque 5 days before you are due to collect the car. Again, Cheques must be made payable to John Morrison Motors Ltd. 

 

TRADE IN CAR 

If you are trading in a vehicle please ensure that you give the following items to the sales executive : 

• Main Key and Spare Key 
• Vehicle License Certficate 
• Tax Disc 
• NCT Disc ( where applicable) 
• Service History Book 
• Owners Handbook 

INSURANCE 

Please ensure that you have arranged insurance transfer to your new vehicle at appropriate time. 

 

THE HANDOVER 

The Handover can take some time. Please set aside at least 1 hour to allow the sales executive hand over the vehicle to you.
